This paper examines how workforce diversity influences human resource management (HRM) practices, arguing that employee diversity has complex implications for how HRM manages them (how they are integrated and advanced). The study considers diversity considers diversity management as a strategic direction, and human resource management as an operational mechanism to implement it. The research has a theoretical and applicable purpose and is founded on an exhaustive review of the literature that has been recently published on the connection between diversity, human resource management and organizational performance. The results show that diversity generates dual advantages (creativity, innovation, adaptability) and uncertainty (conflicts, prejudices, communication difficulties), and its impact depends on the operationalization of inclusive human resource management practices. The article presents a conceptual framework in which diversity management shapes the vision of an organization, and HRM achieves it through inclusive recruitment, fair evaluation, diverse leadership and the advancement of an inclusive culture. HRM facilitates mediate the performance and diversity of an organization. Encouraging inclusion can redefine diversity into a competitive advantage. The study provides guidelines for future empirical research alongside managerial suggestions for implementing diversity integration strategies.
